Helpling acquires operational business from Tiger Facility Services

Berlin, 19.12.2019: Helpling, Helpling, Europe's leading online marketplace for home services, today announced the acquisition of the operational business of Tiger Facility Services (formerly "Book A Tiger"). Helpling acquired the Swiss business of its former competitor already in October 2018, since then the two companies have been working closely together. Leading investors of Tiger Facility Services are also investing in Helpling as part of the acquisition.

The acquisition of the operational business of Tiger Facility Services marks the end of an eventful year for Helpling. After achieving profitability in all countries, further investment and the expansion of its range of services to include other household-related services, the company is now expanding into the B2B segment.

Helpling and Tiger Facility Services both launched in Germany in spring 2014 with a focus on curating the domestic cleaning market. In its early years, Tiger Facility Services was known as "Book A Tiger" - this changed in the summer of 2018 when the company changed its brand name and since then has focused entirely on the B2B segment.
