Yes, after your booking request has been accepted by your dog sitter, you can get in touch via the Helpling platform. Use the chat function in the app or on the website to talk to your dog sitter about any special requests you might have. Here, you can discuss the most important facts about your dog and your dog sitter can prepare themselves accordingly.
Dog sitting involves a provider coming to your home to care for your dog during the day or evening, which can include feeding, walking, and playtime while you’re away. Dog boarding, on the other hand, is where you drop your dog off at the provider’s location for overnight care or for an extended stay.
Helpling maintains liability insurance with coverage of EUR 5,000,000, which also covers every service provider in the event of damage to the customer’s property. If a customer claims damage caused by the service provider’s activities, Helpling reports the damage to the liability insurance company. This covers damage from 500 euros.
For damage under 500 euros and for the first 500 euros of a larger damage, you can of course always contact the service provider directly in order to agree on appropriate compensation with them. You can find the contact details in the confirmation email you received before the appointment.
