We place great importance on fair prices. Since each cleaner decides their own individual customer price, you as a customer also set your personal price range for apartment cleaning. During the booking process, you therefore determine the price range for your apartment cleaning yourself. Accordingly, you will only be matched with cleaners whose price fits your expectations.
As soon as a cleaner accepts your request, you will be notified by text message and email. You can now contact your cleaner and clarify the details of the first cleaning appointment.
Depending on your location and the time of the requested booking, it may take a little longer to find a suitable cleaner for you in some cases. In this case, we will contact you directly to find a solution together.
Use the chat function in the app or on the website to discuss any special requests like window cleaning with your cleaner in advance. You can also note down all your requests and priorities on a checklist. This will help your cleaner to respond more specifically to your preferences.
When booking a cleaning service, please provide the necessary cleaning supplies. We recommend these materials. Ensure that all utensils are in good working order to guarantee a thorough clean. After the first clean, feel free to ask your cleaner whether additional supplies will be needed in the future.
Cleaners booked through Helpling are self-employed cleaners. It is best to discuss whether window cleaning is part of the job with your cleaner right at the start.
Please ensure that your cleaner has access to your house or apartment at the agreed time. We recommend that you greet your cleaner in person before the first cleaning appointment. This will allow you to show them around your home and discuss your requirements and preferences.
Alternatively, you can contact the cleaner via chat to coordinate a possible key handover in advance (e.g., leaving it with a neighbor).
Yes. In the unlikely case of damage, you don’t need to worry. Helpling platform has liability insurance with coverage of €5,000,000, which covers every cleaner for damage to their respective customer’s property. If the customer claims damages caused by the cleaner’s work, Helpling will report the claim to the liability insurance company. This covers damages starting at €500. For damages under €500 and for the first €500 of a larger claim, you can of course contact the cleaner directly at any time and agree on appropriate compensation.
