Helpling acquires Call Jeffrey following completion of financing round

Berlin, 11.11.2021

Berlin, 11.11.2021: After closing another financing round, the Helpling Group today announces the acquisition of the Munich-based housekeeping company Call Jeffrey. Call Jeffrey is now part of the Helpling Group, strengthening its position as Europe’s leading platform for household- and office-related services. Further acquisitions are planned.

Despite Corona, the Helpling Group has been able to grow strongly in recent years. In addition to the continuous organic growth of the existing business, the Helpling Group has been able to consolidate the European market through numerous acquisitions. Following the acquisition of Tiger Facility Services at the end of 2019, the group is now also active in the business customer segment. Since the middle of this year, the group has focused on expanding the premium segment for private households with Helpling Premium. The premium segment is set to grow strongly in the coming years, and the acquisition of Call Jeffrey further bolsters the Helpling Group’s presence in this area.

Helpling founder and CEO, Philip Huffmann, says: “The founding team behind Call Jeffrey has done an impressive job so far and I am delighted to add another strong brand to our B2C segment. For now, we’d like to keep Call Jeffrey’s business as it is and additionally develop new products together.” Vincent Bobinski, founder of Call Jeffrey says: “After the successful – but challenging – launch of our business, we are delighted that Call Jeffrey is now part of the Helpling Group.” “Embedding our product into the Helpling platform obviously presents a great opportunity! As part of the Helpling Group, the product-market fit can continue to improve, allowing Call Jeffrey to reach more and more customers,” adds its co-founder Gabriel Bobinski.

Founded in 2016, Call Jeffrey currently employs a team of 180 people, including permanent housekeepers. In addition to the thousands of self-employed cleaners on the Helpling platform, Helpling Premium now also refers jobs to smaller agencies where cleaners are permanently employed.

For Helpling, the acquisition is the eighth since the company was founded in 2014. “The capital from our latest financing round will be increasingly used for further acquisitions in order to consolidate our position as market leader in Europe,” says Helpling founder Philip Huffmann.
